Corn & Tamale Casserole

2 cans creamed corn 

1 can corn 

1 can tamales

Put corn in buttered casserole. 

Remove tamales from paper and slice over the corn. 

Add sauce from tamales. Mix gently and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.

Use the cheapest tamales -they have more sauce. 

You can dress this up more by frying 4 strips of bacon. 

Remove bacon from pan and crumble. 

Slice an onion and 2 ribs of celery. 

Saute in bacon drippings and add to corn. 

Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.

Was served as one of her Mardi Gras Buffet dishes.
